How to read these figures: Available inventory includes only unclaimed, unrevealed slabs marked as inventory. All registered slabs includes available, revealed, claimed and other registered slabs. The displayed minimum and maximum are the lowest and highest current recorded FMV within the selected group, not guaranteed pack values. Both views use each slab's current recorded FMV, not its original reveal-time FMV. Slabs without a positive recorded FMV are excluded. These distributions are snapshots of records at page load and are not purchase odds, guarantees of value, or a prediction of what your pack will contain. FAIR MARKET VALUE / TRANSPARENCY
TOKIYA estimates each graded slab's fair market value (FMV) using a weighted review of available comparable market data. When all three sources are available and reliable, the calculation assigns 45% to the most recent comparable completed eBay sale, 35% to a third-party card valuation, and 20% to the average of up to three comparable active eBay fixed-price listings (excluding auctions). The active-listing component is averaged first and receives 20% in total, regardless of whether one, two, or three listings are used.
When a source is unavailable or unsuitable, its weight is proportionally redistributed among the remaining reliable sources. TOKIYA may apply a documented manual valuation override for cards with limited or unusual market data. Comparisons consider the card, set, variant, language, grading company, and grade; unusually high or low listings and stale transactions may be excluded from the review.
Active listing prices are seller asking prices, not completed sales. Third-party estimates may incorporate overlapping marketplace data. Published FMV reflects the most recently reviewed and saved valuation, rather than continuous real-time pricing; TOKIYA may update it when new information is reviewed. FMV is an estimate only, not a guaranteed resale price, appraisal, or promise of future value.
Starter, Silver, Gold, and Platinum packs have stated maximum estimated FMVs of $50, $100, $250, and $500, respectively. Individual slabs may have an FMV below the purchase price. The displayed inventory distribution and FMV ranges reflect currently recorded valuations and may change as inventory and valuations are updated.
